The cornerstone of a good system is its architecture. In designing and developing a system it is important to be able to continually reassess the overall architecture and evolve it as is needed.

Based on experience Gethos has the foresight and knowledge to be able to design systems with a solid architecture. This is the underpinning strength on which our range of I.T. skills build.

These skills enable us to work on projects ranging from simple web sites through to complicated mission critical middleware systems.

We have extensive experience in developing UNIX system software, web applications, middleware infrastructure and Java applications. In developing these systems, we have gained excellent skills in Linux development and administration, database systems, network configuration and network programming.

With any information system it is imperative that security measures be put in place so as to protect the organisation's interests. This ranges from simple best practises to extensive security enhancements of networked services and individual machines. For particularly sensitive projects it may even be necessary to deploy and possibly develop cryptographic solutions. Here, at Gethos we have experience with the full spectrum of security requirements.
