Gethos Systems
Embodying the ethos of global systems thinking.

Gethos Systems is operated by Stewart Gebbie to work on issues related to the engineering of complex software systems.

Gethos has been operating in one form or another since 1999.

Stewart Gebbie has received an MSc from Wits University in 2002 for his studies in pure mathematics and his thesis on cryptography: A Survey of the Mathematics of Cryptology.

After this Stewart worked as a freelance software developer on systems ranging from Medical Aid business systems, to Rsync implementations for backup and VoIP systems. In 2014 he moved to Z├╝rich to work as an SRE for Google Switzerland for over 2 years, before moving back to South Africa to software architecture positions at ECN and Discovery.
